Meet the Engineer

Geoff Kramer, P.E.

Licensed Professional Engineer — Electrical
Multi-State Licensure

Geoff has spent more than two decades designing, reviewing, and certifying power systems across the U.S. A Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate in Materials Engineering, he began his career in energy code compliance and transitioned to solar in 2007—long before it became mainstream.

Over the years, Geoff has led engineering teams, designed hundreds of megawatts of commercial and residential PV systems, and worked on projects with some of the industry’s biggest names, including REC Solar, SolarCity, and Tesla.

Today, as Principal Engineer at PowerStamp and Senior Engineer at Viva Energy, he provides fast, professional PE review and stamping for solar, battery, generator, and power-distribution projects in more than ten states.

When he’s not knee-deep in electrical drawings, Geoff is probably tending his cactus collection, propagating plants, or out gold prospecting somewhere in the California hills.
